Processing time

All Green Heron Ceramics pieces are carefully packed and shipped from my studio.

  • Ready-to-ship items: Orders typically ship within 5 business days.
  • Made-to-order items: Processing times vary by piece and will be listed on the product page.

During new releases or busy seasons, processing times may be slightly longer. The most accurate estimate will always appear at checkout.

Shipping rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Tracking

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Delivery timeline

Carrier transit times vary by destination. Please note that delivery estimates shown at checkout are provided by the carrier and may change due to weather, peak shipping periods, or other delays outside my control.

Packaging

Ceramics are fragile, and I take packaging seriously. Each piece is wrapped and boxed with care to help it arrive safely.

Local pickup

If you’re local to the DC-Maryland-Virginia area, local pickup would be preferred to reduce the risk of breakage in transit. Select the pickup option at checkout and I’ll email you when your order is ready.

International shipping 

If international shipping is available, it will appear at checkout. Please note that international orders may be subject to customs fees, duties, or taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer.

Damaged in transit

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the item and the packaging

I’ll respond as quickly as possible with next steps.
